I really am disgusted by Consort Su, she is so manipulative and conceited. Biased and partial to her children. I know it’s normal, but I feel disgusted every time she puts a play… And the Emperor, what a joke. Cunning old fox.
RFF did so many crimes, yet I can’t help but feel sorry for her. She’s also human and her suffering like this is weirdly heartbreaking to me. Maybe because she’s not the crazy kind villain that won’t repent and admit to being in the wrong. She’s cognizant of her misdeeds and own up to them, even keeping rationality in hard, traumatizing times. I respect her tenacity, and again she’s ruthless and basically evil… But no one in that damn palace has clean hands. She treats life the same way they treat human except for not always needing a borrowed knife and being particularly creative, scheming. And we finally know the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Her mother is perhaps even more vicious. Coldly knowing her mother would sacrifice her no doubt, again I felt pity. It just proves to show she is ready to kill but also get killed, use but also be used. Do the crime and do the time (if caught) though she’d try like a sane person to save her skin ofc.
Anyway, my hatred goes to that charming Imperial mandarin ducks. Coordinating so well. It’s already been hinted time and times again that there are problems with Consort Su. Can’t wait to find out. I think she betrayed LHY but he still has 3 parts good feelings for her so I believe her love for him to be genuine. I mean isn’t RFF the exact same position as Noble Consort Su, she’s putting on a pitiful act for her own gain. Her suffering is at most the consequences of her own actions, and she has never admitted she was wrong before……..she just feels wronged because she thinks she’s suffering for no reason despite all the bad things she’s done. It’s kinda like how dare other people make her suffer mindset.
