I’ve always been very careful and consistent with my use of familial address since english doesn’t give as much information as in chinese, so the wives of her father’s brothers I’ve always just translated as ‘aunt’, and the sisters of her father I refer to as ‘paternal aunt’, I think I’ve mentioned this back in early chapters when I complained about the lack of proper familial addresses in english. And while I’m at it, mother’s sister is ‘maternal aunt’, and mother’s brother’s wife is ‘maternal aunt-in-law’. Attention to detail can really get you far in life.
