Damn that last line…lol Rui Qinwang chose LJY and manipulated a 14 (?) year old. Now that he finds that she doesn’t have the Luo family’s backing he just discards her and nevermind just ignoring her, he wants to provoke her, knowing that LJY hates LJW? Geez. I wonder if he’s this twisted inside because he can’t be like this outside, as he has an image to maintain? Or maybe this is just his personality.

No she has always been the second branch, her father is the second son of her grandfather, thus the SECOND BRANCH. She’s the third miss because she the third born daughter in the entire Luo family of her generation. Her ranking has nothing to do with which branch she’s in. It has always been mentioned in the novel that she’s in the second branch, MULTIPLE TIMES.
Ooohhhh!!!!!! I see!!!!!! I made a mistake and counted the Shu born uncle’s family as the second…….hahaha….my question might have been a bit stupid but thanks a lot for explaining.
Somehow I expected LHY’s familly tree to be more complicated than LJW’s, but I was wrong and LJW’s family tree confuses me a lot. Gotta take notes next time so I don’t get confused.
